Concert with French artist Claude Chichon
Espergærde Bibliotek and Alliance française Helsingør are pleased to invite you to a concert with the French artist, Claude Chichon, on December 2 at Espergærde Bibliotek.
The French musician has written several songs on his own but he is particularly known for his musical interpretations of the poems of Prince Henrik of Denmark.
He has released the album ‘La Sirène’ containing 13 musical interpretations of the prince consort's poems, and Bent Fabricius-Bjerre, they released the album ‘Pas de Deux Royal’, also with several interpretations of the royal poems. 'Pas de Deux Royal' was released in connection with the joint exhibition of Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik with the same title at ARoS in 2013. Furthermore, he has published ‘Prendre le temps’ in 2005 and ‘Sentiments’ in 2008.
Claude Chichon came to Denmark from Paris in 1986 and lives today in Aarhus, where he teaches at the Jyske Musikkonservatorium.
