Copenhagen Baroque Festival is just around the corner and on September 4 you can experience the eminent French baritone, Marc Mauillon, in the church of Vor Frelsers Kirke for this year's opening concert.

The concert is dedicated to the saint of music, Saint Cecilia - because what is life without music? Accompanied by the sublime Baroque orchestra, Arte dei Suonatori, we embark on a musical adventure with breathtaking pieces by George Frideric Handel and Henry Purcell - including excerpts from the famous works ‘Alexander's Feast’ and ‘Ode for St. Cecilia's Day’.
