Copenhagen Poetry Festival: SOMMERTID

Sommertid aims to highlight the blending of the arts, and in particular poetry and music. On the first day of the festival (April 4, 2024), Copenhagen Poetry House will present the poetry prize, and introduce two forthcoming publications. The evening of April 5 will be presented by Peter Dyreborg, Danish slam artist and poet.

The evening will feature several artists, including Samantha Barendson (France) and Ernestas Noreika (Lithuania), each performing in their native language. The event is multicultural and multilingual, and the performances will be followed by a discussion between the artists about their approaches to poetry and performance art in general. The evening will end with music.
