Founded in 1986, MIX COPENHAGEN is one of the world's oldest LGBTQ+ film festivals and the leading LGBTQ+ film festival in the Nordic region. Its aim is to show a wide range of films that bend gender and break sexual boundaries, influence the gender debate and reflect a diverse world. In 2023, the festival will take place from 20 to 29 October with screenings at the Cinematheque and Empire.
This year, a great selection of French films are part of the programme: Power Alley by Lillah Halla (which will be the opening film of the festival), The Lost Boys by Zeno Graton (nominated for the Lili Award for Best Feature Film), Orlando, My Political Biography by Paul B. Preciado (nominated for the Lili Award for Best Documentary Film), Winter Boy by Christophe Honoré or The Five Devils by Léa Mysius.
