The network of Alliances françaises in Denmark

The worldwide network of Alliances françaises, created in 1883, is the world's leading non-governmental cultural organisation with 829 Alliances in 135 countries (2023). 

The mission of Alliances françaises is to:

• Promote French and Francophone cultures
• Promote cultural diversity and encourage dialogue between cultures
• In some cases, to offer French courses to the general public in order to develop the teaching and use of the French language
