Parlons des chemins de Compostelle

Come and discover or rediscover with Christine Lyt the itineraries of the Chemins de Compostelle in France. Listed as a Unesco World Heritage site, the roads leading to Santiago de Compostela are many and varied, from the mountains to the sea. They cross France and its landscapes, towns and villages steeped in art and history.

Christine will look back at the beginnings of this pilgrimage and the reasons for its enduring appeal. We'll take a pictorial tour of the 4 historic routes from France, and in particular the one said to be the most beautiful: the via Podiensis (or chemin du Puy). You'll discover unspoilt nature, a succession of magnificent, ever-changing landscapes, architectural treasures, quiet villages, stories and legends....
