3daysofdesign at the French Embassy in Denmark - “Resurgences: Reissues of French Design Icons”

Ambassade de France au Danemark, Kongens Nytorv 4, 1050 Copenhague
10-12.06.2026 / 10:00 - 19:00

From June 10 to 12, 2026, during Copenhagen’s 3daysofdesign, the biggest design festival in northern Europe, the French Embassy in Denmark hosts in the historical reception rooms of the Thott Palace a new edition of the exhibition RESURGENCES, in collaboration with Le FRENCH DESIGN and the Mobilier national.

After being successfully presented in Paris, this exhibition brings to the festival's audience a curated selection of iconic pieces by the great masters of 20th-century French design, faithfully reissued by leading contemporary houses.

The 27 masterpieces bear the signatures of Félix Aubiet, Néstor Basterretxea, René-Jean Caillette, Pierre Chareau, Turenne Chevallereau, Élise Djo-Bourgeois, Rena Dumas, Jean-Michel Frank, Pierre Guariche, Philippe Hurel, Jules Leleu, Christian Liaigre, Joseph-André Motte, Serge Mouille, Pierre Paulin, and Roger Tal Ion.

All these pieces are brought back to the public by the exceptional talents of manufacturers Alki, Cinna, Duvivier Canapés, Ecart International, Edition Serge Mouille, Eurosit, Fermob, Ligne Roset, Maison Leleu, Mobilier national, Philippe Hurel, Pierre Frey, RDAI, Rinck, Sammode, Source Édition or Galerie MCDE via invisible Collection.

"Résurgences" celebrates unparalleled craftsmanship and embodies a shared vision: to highlight the legacy and contemporary innovation of 20th-century French design and heritage on the global stage.

All these works are staged in a setting designed by BERENICE CURT ARCHITECTURE, recipient of Le FRENCH DESIGN 100 award.
