3daysdesign 2024 - Spotlight On New French Design

Ambassade de France au Danemark
12-14.06.2024

As part of 3daysofdesign 2024, The French Embassy in Denmark has opened its doors to showcase the best of the new French design scene in all its diversity in the emblematic reception rooms of the palace.

The masterpiece of this unique exhibition is “Rondin” by the French designer Arnaud Lapierre, an elegant bench specially commissioned by the French Ministry of Culture. The exhibition also includes ceramics by Manufactures de Sèvres, a remarkable tapestry by Manufacture Robert Four and a series of various pieces created by students from the leading design schools of France.

The exhibition is organised by the French Institute in Denmark in partnership with the Mobilier National, a major French cultural institution from the 17th century whose mission is to preserve the French state's unique collection of furniture and objects. The Mobilier National also plays a major role in supporting and promoting young French designers and contemporary creation abroad.

“Spotlight on new French design“ is made possible through a collaboration with Manufacture nationale de Sèvres, Campus Mode Métiers d'art & Design and Manufacture Robert Four, and with the kind support of the French Institute in Paris and Paule Mikkelsens Mindelegat.
