Madalena Valencia, winner of the Septentrionales 2025

After careful deliberation by the jury, we are pleased to announce that the director and screenwriter Madalena Valencia has been selected for a two-month residency in Nordic territories, taking place from 15th August to 15th October 2025 with her film ‘Des maisons et des papillons’. Congratulations, Madalena!

The French Institutes of Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden are delighted with the entousiasm generated by this second edition of the SEPTENTRIONALES. We would like to thank the artists for their enthusiasm and the high quality of the entries submitted.
