Artistes Voyageuses l’appel des lointains

Institut français du Danemark, Rolighedsvej 37, Frederiksberg
22.02.2022 / 19:30 - 20:30

The turn of the twentieth century was marked by a renewed interest in Orientalism, and from the 1920s onwards, many artists travelled to more distant lands, from Central Africa to Madagascar and the Indochinese peninsula. Come and discover the painters Alix Aymé and Lucie Cousturier, the draughtswoman Simone Gouzé and the sculptor Anna Quinquaud.

As part of our "Fransk for en hund" concept, the ticket costs DKK 100 with a glass of wine included in the price.

The lecture will be given in easy-to-understand French.
