As part of the "Bricks - Per Kirkeby" exhibition, the Copenhagen Architecture Festival is organizing a series of lectures focusing on the work of the famous Danish artist, and in particular his use of bricks. Institut français is pleased to welcome French-Lebanese architect Lina Ghotmeh for a conversation with Anne Beim, Professor at the Royal Academy. She will take the opportunity to discuss her experience of experimenting with conventional building methods and her use of bricks, for example in her latest project - the new Hermès workshops in Normandy, made from 500,000 locally produced bricks.
