A never-ending quest for light and new landscapes.

Claude Monet was keen to capture snow-covered landscapes on canvas, but the winters in Normandy in recent years had not seen much persistent snow or frost. So he decided to head for Norway in January 1895. Guided by his son-in-law, an employee of a Norwegian timber importer, he painted Norwegian fjords, mountains, and hills in a race against the thaw...

Come and discover Claude Monet's incredible journey through the magical landscapes of the Scandinavian winter.

  • As part of our "Fransk for en hund" concept, the ticket costs DKK 100 with a glass of wine included in the price.
