Parlons de l'Art d'être mère

The theme of maternity and motherhood has been taken up by the Christian iconography of the Virgin Mary for several centuries, but with the arrival of more and more women artists at the end of the 19th century, new representations emerged. Philippe will introduce you to these artists through the works of Berthe Morisot, Mary Cassat, Anna Ancher, Suzanne Valadon, Tamara de Lempicka... as well as looking at their male colleagues.
