The international festival of digital cultures!
Digital November (Novembre Numérique) is the international festival of digital cultures launched by the French Institute in 2017. Each year, the festival is organized by more than 70 countries and 130 cities.
Digital November aims to:
- Support digital innovation and creativity
- Promote access to new technologies for all
- Renew the formats of artistic creation and expression
The festival highlights a wealth of creative forms such as virtual reality, video games, e-sports, digital art and storytelling, web development and more. In our time of artificial intelligence, metavers and NFTs, Digital November opens up the dialogue on the use of digital technology and its place in our society.
As part of the festival, the French Institutes in the Nordic countries are organising a free video game tournament based on the game TrackMania! The tournament is open to anyone over the age of 18 living in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden, and the top two players will win a trip to Paris Games Week 2025. TrackMania is developed by the French game studio Ubisoft Nadea that is co-organizing the event.
