Myriam Bahaffou i Danmark
Konference

Ecofeminism in daily life

Aarhus (Løves Bogcafé) & København (KUA & Den Franske Bogcafé)
22.10.2024 - 23.10.2024

On 22 and 23 October 2024, French feminist philosophy researcher Myriam Bahaffou will be coming to Denmark to take part in several conferences on eco-feminism in Copenhagen and Aarhus.

An eco-feminist, decolonial, and anti-speciesist activist, Myriam Bahaffou is a doctoral student in philosophy and teaches ethics (environmental and animal) and feminist theory at university (Ottawa and Amiens). She is particularly interested in the areas of convergence between feminist, decolonial, and pro-climate struggles. In 2024 she published a highly acclaimed essay, Des paillettes sur le compost (Le Passager clandestin), in which she engages in a sensitive and political exploration of everyday life to show the extent to which ecofeminism, far from being a disembodied philosophy, is on the contrary in direct touch with reality and flesh.
