Philippe Fenech - Copenhagen Comics
On Saturday June 7 and Sunday June 8, 20025, French comic artist Philippe Fenech will be taking part in Copenhagen Comics, the Copenhagen Comics Fair.
A native of Montpellier, France, Philippe Fenech has made a name for himself with his humorous children's comics. After two parallel careers between 2000 and 2002, as a drawing and film teacher and as a freelancer for Disney Hachette, he gave up teaching in 2003 to devote himself entirely to comics. He fell into comics as a child after reading Asterix, and a few years ago returned to his “first love” by drawing the Idéfix series, inspired by the emblematic little dog originally created by René Goscinny and Albert Uderzo in the “Asterix” series.
Idéfix is translated into Danish by Francois-Éric Grodin and published by Cobolt.
