“Untouchables” adapted for Danish stage

Folketeateret - Nørregade 39, 1165 København
29.04.2025 - 09.05.2025

From April 29 to May 4, Copenhagen’s Folketeatret will host the theatrical adaptation of Intouchables, one of the most iconic successes of French cinema.

This heartwarming comedy tells the story of an unexpected friendship between Philippe, a wealthy aristocrat left quadriplegic after an accident (played by Preben Kristensen), and Driss, a young unemployed man from the suburbs (played by Arian Kashef). In search of change in his carefully structured life, Philippe sees in Driss — who initially shows up just to get a rejection signed for his welfare benefits — a refreshing burst of humor and energy.

Against all odds, a powerful bond grows between the two men, leading them into a deeply human adventure that is both moving and full of laughter.
